Our metal side release buckle has rounded edges and a slight bend for a comfortable wear. It is made of brass plated zinc die casting for a luxurious look and feel that offers maximum durability and strenght . `The D ring is made of polished sand casting brass which means it does not rust and is extremely resistant to frost, wind and salt. Expect long service life and great strength. Brass products can oxidize and darken as a result. This is not a defect, only a natural characteristic of brass.
